Sew and Tell (Part 3)

Today is Part Three of Sew and Tell. Because of the overwhelming response, I'll be doing a few more weeks of features (rather than my original plan of two), so watch for more posts over the next few weeks!  I so appreciate every one of you sending your projects in, and hope you'll enjoy checking out everyone else's projects!

First up, Brittany of The Crafted Cure. I'm dying over this refashion of striped dress to chevron pillow. So pretty, and so creative! She blogged about it here with a full tutorial. 

Marjorie, of Piso Fashion, took a plain white button up top and refashioned it into a fun and sexy top with sequins and cut out shoulders! She blogged about her process here.

 Shea, who blogs over at dpveen, refashioned an old t-shirt by adding some beautiful lace cutouts in the sleeves. I'm pretty sure I need to do this with some of my old shirts! She blogged about her process here.

 Shea also upgraded these simple dishtowels by adding some pretty fabric. A really easy DIY, and so cute! She blogged about it here.

Kayla, of See Kayla Go, upgraded a thrifted sweater by adding some leather shoulder detailing. Such an easy way to elevate a simple sweater! She also used my t-shirt skinnification tutorial to take in the sleeves and make the sweater fit just a little bit better. She blogged about her project here.

Emily, from Sewing Machines and Crafting Routines, made this gorgeous black lace dress. Considering she'd never sewn anything with lace before, and made up her own pattern, this is majorly impressive! She blogged about it here.

Kate, from Broken and Beautiful, sent in three of her projects. First up, she refashioned her daughters old shirt, turning it into a darling little ruffled dress. The best part is that she didn't spend a penny because the ruffle fabric was from an old pair of pajama pants! She blogged about it here.

And Kate's final project was this t-shirt refashion. She picked up a large t-shirt from Goodwill and altered it to fit her perfectly! She blogged about it here.

Sharsti, who blogs over at The Scott Family, made this darling maxi skirt. The green on green stripe is so cute! She blogged about making it here.
